Checkout lanes are painfully slow. It's a rare visit that I didn't stand in line. Target just around the corner is much faster.
Good department store. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent selection of products at retail prices. Good sales, though. Like any other Kohls store, though, almost every area of clothing is always blown up like a Black Friday crowd just destroyed it, so finding the right size and style can be very difficult.
I usually only go to Kohl's when they have a sale online. The "pick up in store" is nice if you can wait for a good sale
I was specifically looking for kitchen baking utensils. I found good prices on the items I wanted and had a rewards certificate and a discount available to me as well.
When Kohl's has what I want, at a reasonable price (usually on clearance), then it's great. However, many of their clothes are overpriced and it can be very difficult to find what you're looking for. Their saving grace is 'Kohl's cash' - if I have to buy something there, at least I get a coupon I might be able to use the next time. I try to avoid shopping here though, since the prices are typically higher than some of the other clothing stores in the area.
