The grouper basket was amazing. Surprising inexpensive for a seafood restraunt. Our server was friendly and very accommodating. Would go back if I was in the area. My wife didn't much enjoy the flounder.
Just had lunch. Found a hair in my slaw. Politely and quietly notified the staff. Expected some sort of compensation but the bill came without any sort of comp. When I asked our server if I could speak with the manager she went in the back of the kitchen to find her, but came out a few minutes later claiming she had just missed her before she left. Then handed me a piece of paper and asked me to leave a message for her and phone number to reach me at. Atmosphere was meh....food was decent but lacking. My deep fried grouper bites were tasty but the batter was not fried crispy. It was still mushy. This all took place at the tail end of lunch service when there was hardly any other customers in the restaurant. Oh....let's go ahead and mention that the server brought me the wrong beer I ordered and didn't take out our food which is probably why one of our orders was left in the kitchen and a different plate delivered. So they had to take that one back and find the right one. As a 10 year plus veteran of the service industry I would have to chalk this one up to sloppy management. They did however. Reach out to me that evening and followed back up with me today to apologize for the incident and resolved it by mailing out a gift card. I will be going back next week. A follow up review can be expected.
Food is good. Great staff. Rooftop Bar and tables great on a warm day by the lake.
