Jim was EXTREMELY RUDE! With all the options out there for places to go to get simple hardware supplies you would think he would treat people better as well as set a better example for the employees! Try to support local but not when you are treated like this, not supporting this place!
I love this store! Customer service is terrific and the selection is great. I love the atmosphere, too. Walking in this store feels like entering the hometown hardware store of my childhood where you could wander down isle after isle and gaze at hundreds of stock items that are just cool to see and ponder. It even smells like an old fashion hardware store! You can't get atmosphere like that in a big box store. We are soooo lucky to have this store in our community. Yes, ACE is the place when it's Okemos Hardware on Hamilton Rd.!

We are so lucky to have a store where the employees are friendly and helpful....and you can go in and get one bolt which an employee has measured to fit the nut you brought in!
